Cipali Toll Road Built with Bank Debt, How much is it?

kata indo. Jakarta - The Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) toll road project was built using syndicated funding from 22 banks. The total loan from 22 syndicated banks is Rp. 8.8 trillion.

President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) Jahja Setiaatmadja revealed, the interest on the loan was 9.7% per year. BCA itself is the bank that leads the syndication.

"The 3-month reference average time deposit + 3.94%, which is currently 9.7% pa (per annum / per year)," Jahja said on Thursday (01/03/2019).



The interest reference is taken from the average interest of BCA, Bank Mandiri, and Bank Panin. "Average time deposit from BCA, Mandiri, Panin," Jahja said.

The loan commitment given for this project of Rp. 8.8 trillion has a period of up to 15 years. This loan is given to the Cipali Tol concession holder, PT Lintas Marga Sedaya (LMS).

Previously known, candidate vice president number 02 Sandiaga Uno said that the Cipali Toll Road was built without using debt. His statement was then excited and highlighted by many parties.

"It can (without debt), I have built 116 kilometers of Cikopo-Palimanan without debt at all," Sandi said after dialogue with MSMEs in Urip Sumoharjo Foodcourt, Surabaya, Tuesday (1/1/2019) some time ago.
